Hope 968 is a School of Spirituality

We are in the human transformation business. We expect that anyone, through the power of the Holy Spirit, can learn to live more like Christ. We take broken and hurting lives and begin to love them, heal them, free them from bondage, and shape their souls into Christ-likeness. As a learning community, we build transformative relationships of honesty and encouragement with other disciples, seek an intellectual renewal of the mind, relearn our habits and responses through various spiritual disciplines and pray for the wonder-working power of God to miraculously break spiritual chains off of our souls.

Spiritual Directors

We offer opportunities for one-on-one mentoring and coaching in the spiritual life by an experienced follower of Christ who has some training in the care of souls. They are able to guide you closer to Christ, counsel you in specific needs, pray with you, correct when necessary, and help you to hear from God yourself.

Novitiation Process

We offer a comprehensive training course for anyone who wants to get the whole picture of what a life fully committed to Christ would entail. This is our membership class, baptism class, discipleship training class, leadership training class, all rolled into one. It can be taken as a self-study process under the direction of a mentor or it can be taken as a year-long class meeting once a week for two hours.

Life Groups

We want to offer you an opportunity to connect with a small learning community of disciples whom you can share your life with, like Jesus with the twelve. This circle of friends becomes a place of prayer, encouragement, laughter, tears, instruction, accountability, sharing stories, and genuine love.

History of Christ-Centered Spirituality- to explore key movements in Christianity
Spiritual Conversations– to discuss the ultimate issues of life with non-Christians
Tough Questions– to address doubts and difficulties about the Christian faith
Disciple-Making– to learn to help others through the process of becoming a disciple
Bible Interpretation– to acquire the skills needed to use the scriptures properly
Prayer– to provide tools and perspectives for a healthy prayer life
Pre-marriage– to help unmarried couples to prepare for marriage
Marriage– to help married couples to love and respect one another
Parenting– to help parents to raise their children to be like Christ
Finances– to learn to manage our money in a way that glorifies God
